The project was put into operation in 2017, aiming to supply heat for the plant area. It can reduce the cost by over CNY 8 million for users annually, on the ground of consumption of about 25,000 tons of bamboo scraps per year. It can be a replacement of 7,000 tons of standard coal per year, representing a reduction on CO2 emissions by 18,600 tons. The exhaust of the boiler is up to the standard of the natural gas boiler. The bamboo charcoal has been sold to make other high-value carbon products. There is no emissions of tar, sewage or ash for the entire system.
