The project was put into operation in 2019, with an annual consumption of 30,000 tons of straw, an annual supply of 75,000 tons of steam, and an annual output of 10,000 tons of biochar. It can replace 13,500 tons of standard coal per year, representing a reduction on CO2 emissions by 36,000 tons. The emission of boiler tail gas pollutants can meet the emission standards of natural gas boilers. All biochar is sold to make other high-value carbon products. There is no emissions of tar, sewage or ash for the entire system.
