This project was put into operation in July, 2018. It has been recognized as the first biomass-coal fueling project for power generation with straw as the major feedstock, as well as the first pilot project that has passed the evaluation of National Energy Administration in China. 

The gross generation is about 75.6 million kW.h. The annual consumption of agricultural and forestry waste is about 56,000 tons. It can replace standard coal of 28,000 tons per year, representing a reduction on CO2 emissions by 74,000 tons. All the ash has been recycled as the organic fertilizer for the farmland. There is no emission of tar, sewage or ash for the entire system.
