Power Generation through Internal Combustion Engine Generator

At the very beginning of our business start-up since 2008, we started with the biomass gasification power plant using the internal combustion engine generator. The syngas will be filtrated to remove the tar, dust and waste water before entering the engine. Our gas cleaning system includes three-stage indirect cooling devices, one set of electro-static precipitator and the gas-liquid separator. The syngas passes through three coolers to lower its temperature to below 50°C, where the water, wood vinegar, and tar can be separated from the syngas. Then the tar and dust can flow with the water into the tank. The gas is then sent to an electrostatic precipitator for further filtration. The tar and wastewater collected are pumped into an adiabatic combustion system for incineration. In this way can we ensure the syngas is clean enough to meet the requirements for the engine generator and no pollutant or waste water is discharged.
